Born in Scotland in 1870, Robert Law came to Melbourne to work as a chemist and assayer at the Mint, a position he retained until his retirement in 1928. A resident of Brighton and a keen photographer, Robert’s legacy includes hundreds of photos.
We will explore Robert’s time in Victoria through his photos in part one and his overseas trips and photography in part 2.
